went for QET (Qualifying English Test) today. which i tot i dun hav to take but i still hav to la.

the story goes...
during the suntec talks, i tot i heard tt poly students whose 'O's English is C6 or above dun nd to take QET anymore. but then. during camp, camp mates asked abt it. after camp, i came back n check juz in case. who knows, i really hav to go for it. i go website check, it says poly students shld hav B4 or above in 'O's English then get exempted. sianz.

QET consists of 2 qns which u hav to choose one n write an essay of abt 250-300 words. today's qns:
Q1: atheletes n entertainers are earning more money than jobs like teachers n nurses. wat r ur views? state ur reasons.
Q2: Discuss the advantages n disadvantages of having 3 generations of the family living tgt under 1 roof.

of course i chose Q2 as im living in a hse with 3 generations. basically i crap there as its onli 250-300 wrds. wat is more impt is the structure. but i completely forget how to write an essay after writing onli reports for 3 yrs. i almost wanted to intro, heading: advantages then heading: disadvantages. wat im more shocked is tt we were onli asked to write 250-300 wrds but ppl within my vision all wrote more than a page n all handwriting damn small. i've got nth else to say liao.


sometimes i really wonder. how many can really acted as they say? but i do believe that once regained what was lost, one will really truthfully cherish it. juz like the friendship that i had regained back...
